The TV personality and actress brought her friends and family to The Bellevue Manila on June 30 to celebrate the much-awaited announcement of her second baby's gender, breaking the news in the cutest way. Together with her husband, action star Robin Padilla, and their first daughter, two-year-old Isabella, Mariel stood on one side of a giant basket holding long, flowy strips of thick ribbon in pink and blue. Building tension in their audience, Mariel and Robin teased at pulling the ribbons for the big reveal, and finally, after a few more words, pulled at them with full force for flowers in a rich shade of pink to peak over the basket's edge.
